Blessed ARe The Poor

One thing i’ve grown to understand over time is about people who live with hardships in their lives. People may question God’s will, asking why would God allow me to suffer hardships? How can God do this to us, or allow this to happen to us? Maybe people have to face disease, or loss, or some hardships in life and they can’t understand how God could let that happen to them. But here’s the deal, and you need to think about this. Because we have all sinned and we all face certain death. But, God has appeared to us, forgiven us of our sins, taught us to keep His commandments and saved us from Eternal fires in hell. So, we really shouldn’t complain. I mean, are you dissatisfied that God has shown up out of nowhere and promised you Eternal life in Paradise? Maybe you can understand what i’m trying to say. I give thanks to God everyday for forgiving my sins and pulling me from the fires of hell. We may have to endure some hardships here on EArth, but when we consider the great deal God has given us, then we might not consider them as burdensome as before. I guess i’m trying to say, at least we’re going to Heaven, so it makes it a little easier to bear our daily burdens. Our suffering and hardship are only temporary, but our life in Paradise will last forever. That’s a pretty good deal.

St. LUke Chapter 6

20 ¶ And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and
said, Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of
God.
21 Blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye shall be
filled. Blessed are ye that weep now: for ye shall
laugh.

24 But woe unto you that are rich! for ye have
received your consolation.
25 Woe unto you that are full! for ye shall hunger.
Woe unto you that laugh now! for ye shall mourn
and weep.
26 Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of
you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.
