I mentioned before that God does not care who you are married to. God only cares how you treat them. I find it very interesting to note that God has put Heaven within reach of all men. Anyone who does not make it to Heaven, it is because of their own fault. It’s like God told me back in 2013, that i can only let my own self down.
I understand now why non-believers have trouble understanding what Christians do, or see. Because non-believers don’t believe in spirituality. They don’t believe there is such a thing, or that people can communicate with God via prayer. To them it seems impossible, and it is impossible for them. These things are spiritually discerned, and to people who cannot discern spiritual things, they are blind to all we see. But to us who can see, it is very real indeed. But if they can’t see, no matter what we say, they will never believe.
1 Corinthians Chapter 1
18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that
perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is
the power of God.
19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the
wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of
20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is
the disputer of this world? hath not God made
foolish the wisdom of this world?
1 Corinthians Chapter 2
12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world,
but the spirit which is of God; that we might know
the things that are freely given to us of God.
13 Which things also we speak, not in the words
which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy
Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with
14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of
the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him:
neither can he know them, because they are
This helps me understand why Jesus strictly forbids us from seeking to learn about God from other men. Why? Because they will teach us a bunch of wrong stuff. We can’t learn about God from other men, because it is spiritually discerned.
St. Matthew Chapter 23
8 But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master,
even Christ; and all ye are brethren.
9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for
one is your Father, which is in heaven.
10 Neither be ye called masters: for one is your
Master, even Christ.
If you want to know what God’s will is for you, you have to ask God. No one else knows your life or what God wants you to do. Only God can tell you these things. We certainly can’t learn anything spiritual from people who cannot discern spiritual things. If any man asks What is God’s will for me?, the only correct answer is to keep God’s commandments and pray to God, and find out what He wants you to do.
