Isaiah Chapter 5 verse 20 warns those who call evil good, and good, evil. I thought how ironic that is, in this day and age. For example, we have the lowest scum of the Earth, literally, calling themselves the “elite”. They substitute everything evil for good. To them, they are the elite. They are the elite of the scum, that is.
I don’t like to speak ill of the living, but one thing i noticed, and this is not just my opinion. Some athletes are very big headed, and proclaim themselves to be the “best ever”. They are not humble, they actually believe they are better than everyone else! One example is Cassius Clay. He was always going around bragging how he’s the “greatest”. He changed his name and he was very proud and arrogant. And yet, God brought him to his knees. While Cassius was so busy bragging, he never gave glory to God, who had blessed him. God turned him into a vegetable, for bragging how good he was. And yet we have other fighters who are humble, some might point out De La Hoya as giving thanks to God, and being a humble man, the kind the God likes, and smart enough to know when not to take any head injuries. Knowing when to quit is just as important as knowing when to start. Chief Joseph is a good example of this. I think Cassius Clay is an obvious, everyday effect of Karma.
