Logic Tells Us To Do Whatever We Want

I was thinking about Scripture that says to “him that hath, more shall be given; but to him who hath not, even that which he hath shall be taken away”.  This is describing a bankrupt person.

I know from previous experience what the common arguments people have for eating meat. One thing i often used to hear was that if we weren’t supposed to eat meat then it wouldn’t taste good. By this foolish and inbred type logic, people fool themselves, and they allow themselves to be fooled. By this same reasoning, the inbred who thinks he should eat meat simply because it tastes good, then he would also think that he should have sex with his mom, if it feels good. These kind of people only do things because it tastes good or feels good, or they like it. They don’t consider anyone else. They only do things for themselves. To them, they are the most important creature in the universe and nothing else matters. If you tell them, Hey, someone had to suffer and get terrified and then get murdered for you to have that samwich they will most likely say that they don’t care. They like to eat it, and that’s all they care about. They don’t care about anyone else. Only themselves.

Jesus told us to be “harmless as doves”.

St. Matthew Chapter 10

16 ¶ Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst
of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and
harmless as doves.

Certainly, if we want to be harmless as doves, we will not be eating any meat.
