If We Can’t See The Body Then We Know You’re Lying To Us

The other day i mentioned that it’s not as easy for some people to believe in God as it is for other people. People have been taught wrong, mislead, and deceived, and outright lied to. It’s kind of like learning to play a musical instrument, becoming a Christian. Because if you first learn a lot of bad habits and wrong information, then before you can do well, you must unlearn all the bad habits you learned, and relearn good habits. Kind of like becoming a Christian late in life. We must unlearn almost everything we know, and then we can learn to live properly. But learning bad habits first makes it much more difficult. So it’s better to teach children to live properly at a young age so they can fully maximize their potential.

But we have to believe in God, we have to have faith. For some it is easier and for some it is more difficult. Even some of the disciples had a hard time believing Jesus, and they witnessed His miracles, first-hand. So again, we all must do the best we can, and pray for guidance and direction. I can’t really tell you what you need to do, only God can.

St. John Chapter 20

24 ¶ But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came. 25 The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe. 26 ¶ And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you. 27 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. 28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. 29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. 30 ¶ And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book: 31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

This is how a lot of people are today. Such as if we hear on the news that someone has died. We have been lied to so much, we can’t even believe it anymore, unless we get to see the dead person, and poke them with our fingers and stuff to see if it really is them, and they really are dead. Because mostly when someone “dies” they are buried within hours and no one ever saw the body, or the burial, or knows where they are buried at. That’s when we become suspicious and we know that we are being lied to. But now we can tell that they are lying to us, because their lips are moving.

But whether we believe a lot, or a little, our salvation all comes down to our righteousness. It is our righteousness that will allow us to enter Heaven. Scripture tells us that every person is going to be judged according to their works. This is why it’s very important to be forgiven of our sins, because if we are found guilty of a lot of sins, the judgment is not going to be good for us. That’s why it’s better to be forgiven of our sins by Jesus than have to face judgment for them. We might not survive judgment otherwise.

St. Matthew Chapter 5

20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Revelation Chapter 20

12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. 14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
