Final Destiny

I was thinking how God just showed up out of the blue, and apparently, for no apparent reason, saved me. So i asked God that since He saved me for no apparent reason, then i would ask that He would save everybody for no apparent reason, just like He saved me. God said that sounds good, but God saved me, but not for no apparent reason. He saved me for an apparent reason. Actually what God did was the same thing He did for everyone. He showed me how to be saved, and i made the decision to save myself and do the things i need to do. So it was for an apparent reason that i was saved. What God gave to me was the same thing that God gave to everyone, the Gift of Salvation. In fact, God is very just, and God did not show favoritism towards me. Just as some people may feel that it is a blessing to be chosen by God as an example, to other people it is a blessing that they are not chosen. I realize that God lets other people suffer more than i do, so He doesn’t show favoritism towards me. In fact, everything that God revealed to me He revealed to everyone. I begin to understand that God gives everyone a certain amount, and some people will invest it and get a return, and some people will not. Some people will just waste what God gives them.

St. Matthew Chapter 25

28 Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents. 29 For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath. 30 And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

So what it comes back to again is that there is only so much that one can do. Most people have a full time job just taking care of their own spiritual matters, let alone worrying about helping others. And taking care of ourselves first is our main focus. So we try to help others whenever we can.

Today i had some thoughts about how Jesus was preordained before the foundation of the world to save us all. It is part of God’s Perfect Plan. God’s Plan was formed even before the Earth was formed!

Ephesians Chapter 1

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: 4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: 5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

1 Peter Chapter 1

20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,

Now this makes me wonder. What was preordained before the foundation of the world, a general outline of God’s plan? Was it just an outline, or was it more than that? Were some details preordained, and unchangeable? If so, how much? Was just an outline of the Plan foreordained, or was every minute detail preordained? Meaning, is everything in life destined to be, and is it unchangeable? Are we predestined to our outcome, and it’s not changeable? If so, does this mean that people are somewhat of living chess pieces, and there is a contest going on with some sort of rules of gameplay or engagement that we are not even aware of? Weird! I don’t know! It kind of messes up my mind!
