Ordering The Slaves

I read about the Israel lost tribes blog and i find their site very fascinating. These Jewish worshipers are very well educated and insightful, and they have another facet of view, and more knowledge of some things. But then i noticed also, these are the same Jews that were in the Bible! Jesus told them, Don’t call anyone rabbi, and yet, they still go around calling everybody rabbi. Now isn’t that funny. The very thing Jesus told them not to do, they still do it. And the Catholics, they still call the pope father, and they say that a human is holy, and they worship a beast. The pope. The very thing Jesus told them not to do. Now i thought, am i the only guy who can read and understand Jesus words in the New Testament? What is going on? Because it’s not complicated, it’s very simple to understand, and it’s a lifelong dedication to some very basic teachings. Jesus tells us how to get into Heaven, and who will, and who will not be allowed in. But nobody seems to listen to Jesus or follow His Words! Incredible! After thinking about this i also began to notice the Jewish blog i read about, they don’t pray to Jesus either. They don’t follow Jesus teachings, so i don’t really know who they are praying to. But one thing seems to be very clear – the Jews of today are the same Jews of yesteryear. You can read all about them in the Bible when Jesus talks to the scribes and the Pharisees. Below is a photo of a self proclaimed Jewish rabbi. Notice those nice broad phylacteries and praying on the street corner so all men can see him! Wow!

Matthew Chapter 23

THEN spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,
2 Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat:
3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and
do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.
4 For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay
them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them
with one of their fingers.
5 But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad
their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments,
6 And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the
7 And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi,
8 But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and
all ye are brethren.
9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father,
which is in heaven.

But then i realize it seems that no one is following Jesus teachings. Everyone around me seems to live in fantasy land, where television is their reality, and they are deliberately denied the Truth by other men who would make money by killing. Bankers. Lately though, more and more i have seen more braver women standing up. Now the women are going to have to be brave and they are going to have to stand up, just like the other oppressed peoples. And i believe women are starting to wake up and realize that if they just allow men to control the world, men will destroy it. By denying their feminine side, the women’s input, mankind is limiting itself. Women are equal partners, and if we lower them, or hold them down, we hold our ownselves down. The same as if we hold anyone down, we hold our ownselves down. If we lift up others then we lift up ourselves. NOw the native americans had a matriarchal system and women ran the show. And when women gave up being equal partners with men, i think that led to a lot of problems in the world. Unfortunately we don’t live in a system designed for equality and fairness. We live in a male dominated system where all people are “ordered around”. It would be better to be equal partners and work together for good solutions for all, rather than blindly follow orders that don’t benefit anybody, but just provide money for a few rich bankers to get rich by killing.

And that’s just it. They tell people if you don’t follow orders then you are bad and you are a coward and dishonorable. And the reason is, as i explained before, the people don’t know what bravery and courage means. Real honor. That’s why i don’t listen to other men. I listen to what God tells me, because men are ridiculous.

A couple other things i thought about were the Scripture where the unclean spirit asks Jesus if Jesus, who is God, is there to punish the demons, “before the appointed time”

Matthew Chapter 8

28 ¶ And when he was come to the other side into the country of the
Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of
the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way.
29 And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with
thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us
before the time?

Now this indicates to me that there is a certain time set for the torment, and the demons seem to have some knowledge of it, because they said “before the time”. So apparently they have some idea of when that time is, because they knew when they saw Jesus, it was too early. It wasn’t time yet. So this makes me think that there is some sort of a timer set, that only God knows. And when that time is reached, then it will be the end, just as SCripture tells us. I believe it is preset, and just as not one letter or even a comma or period cannot fail to be upheld in the Scripture. In the Law. And i am reminded that Jesus tells us several times “he that endures to the end”, meaning that at some point, there is an end to all this. And we need to endure to the end. Faithful to God. Faithful to Jesus, His teachings, His commandments, His example. And one example Jesus gave us is that He suffered. He was completely innocent, and yet He suffered greatly. And that tells us that we also will suffer if we follow His example. So if we are not suffering, we are not following in Christ’s footsteps.

Now some people wonder if it is OK to question God. I myself have even asked the same question. And then i understand, God is our Father. We can ask Him anything we want, and we need to ask, if we want to learn and understand. But the thing to always remember about God, is that we love Him with all our heart, mind and soul and power. So we remember this when we are asking God our questions. That’s me, that’s what i do. But i also know that there are some things that i will never understand, and so i have to trust and obey. For example, i may pray to God and say God, i don’t understand this! and beg for understanding. But i still won’t understand. Why? Because it is not time yet, apparently. Even so, that is why i trust and obey.

For example we remember the crying baby in the waiting room. The baby is sad and unhappy and cries. If the babys’ father tries to explain to the baby logically why the baby has to wait and be patient, the baby would probably cry more! The baby is too little to understand. This little baby is what i call still in the “crybaby” stage. The baby has not grown up enough to learn, to accept that he has to sit and wait. AFter the baby begins to mature, and learns patience, and obedience, then the babies father can sit down and explain things to him. Even more and more, as the child grows. And i think spiritually we are babies too, and growing up physically also would be best balanced by growing spiritually at the same time. But it’s a new concept to me, and i am still studying and learning and thinking how to be a son of God.

To me it has become similar in my life with God. The more i mature and obey, the more understanding i receive. It’s certainly OK to question God. How else could we find out anything? God wants us to get to know Him. But we have to accept the fact that there are some things that we will not understand. Yet. In time. So until we understand the things that we don’t understand yet, we Trust, and Obey. And keep all God’s commandments, starting with loving God with all our heart, mind, and soul power. And loving our neighbors as much as ourselves. When we become obedient children, sons and daughters of God, and listen to God, then God can speak to us in our hearts and explain all things.

I thought about how people try to separate themselves from nature. They try to separate themselves from the world, from animals, from God, and even from each other! Such as one brother tries to separate himself from his other brother. But man is not separate from other men, animals, nature, or God.

I also thought about the story of Lazarus and the beggar. How they both died and the rich man went to hell, and he begged Abraham to send a message back to his brethren not to come to hell! The rich man said if someone goes back from the dead, then they will believe! Abraham replied that if those brethren did not hear Moses, nor the prophets, then neither would they believe if one went back from the dead.

Luke Chapter 16

23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth
Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and
send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool
my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime
receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now
he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed:
so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can
they pass to us, that would come from thence.
27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send
him to my father’s house:
28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they
also come into this place of torment.
29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let
them hear them.
30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them
from the dead, they will repent.
31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets,
neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

Now i read in the Scriptures that God sends prophets, He sends evangelists, pastors, watchmen and many more servants of HIs. God sends them forth, to carry out His will. For example Noah was a watchman, and Noah was also a prophet, and most likely Noah was also an evangelist, since Noah knew God, and Noah was righteous. But my point is, when Abraham tells the rich man if they hear not the prophets, Abraham is not just talking about the books of the Bible written by prophets, but also those prophets God sends, such as Noah, or Ezekiel, or , the prophet evangelist on the street corner. God sends lots of prophets and God works in all our lives. That’s why Jesus said to call no man teacher. Because God is the only Teacher. Everything comes from God. So if those people on Earth do not hear Moses, or the prophets, it won’t do any good if some guy goes back from the dead. They still won’t listen. And since they won’t listen to Moses and the prophets, well then they will be in torments, just as Scripture tells us! This is bad news! This means if people don’t listen to God and obey God they are going to suffer and be tormented! I need to tell them, but if they don’t listen to Moses, the prophets, and they don’t listen to God, they aren’t going to listen to me either. But i still tell them anyway, whether if they listen or not. Because some of the seed will fall on good soil.
