Better Believe Jesus

Now i begin to understand John 3:16

John Chapter 3

16 ¶ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have
everlasting life.

Whoever believes in Jesus, the only begotten Son of God should NOT perish. Now this does not mean that you can just say “I believe Jesus is God”. but you must believe everything Jesus tells you. And if Jesus tells you to do something, such as do the will of the Father, then you better believe Jesus and do what He says. Or if Jesus tells you not to do something, you should also believe Him and not do what He says. We need to believe everything Jesus tells us. In Matthew, Jesus tells us that those who live by the sword will perish by the sword.

Matthew Chapter 26

52 Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place:
for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.

Jesus said this about killing animals, in the Gospel of the Hebrews:

“The true food of man is from the mother of the earth, for she brings forth perfect gifts unto the humble of the land.

But ye seek what Satan giveth, the anguish, the death, and the blood of living souls taken by the sword.

Know ye not, those who live by the sword are the ones who die by the same death?”

This means if people kill, then they will be killed. Jesus told us this and we need to believe HIm. Some people might say that they don’t believe Jesus said that. They might call Jesus a liar. They might not believe Jesus spoke the Truth about killing, even killing and eating animals. There may be some people who don’t believe Jesus. Well, John 3:16 says that who ever believes in JEsus will NOT perish. But what about those who do NOT believe Jesus? What will happen to the unbelievers?

Revelation Chapter 21

7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God,
and he shall be my son.
8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and
murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all
liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and
brimstone: which is the second death.

The people who did not believe Jesus and what Jesus said were unbelievers. They did not believe. But they did perish. Just as Jesus told us would happen. Because God’s Word is True.

John Chapter 3

18 ¶ He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth
not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name
of the only begotten Son of God.
19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world,
and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were
evil.

If Jesus tells you something, you better believe it’s True. If Jesus tells you that you will die if you do something, you better believe it’s True, or you will die. Scripture is very clear. All non-believers are going into the lake of fire. And now i am understanding better and better why “few will be saved”.

Galatians Chapter 6

7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth,
that shall he also reap.
8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption;
but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life
everlasting.

2 Corinthians Chapter 6

WE then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye
receive not the grace of God in vain.
2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day
of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time;
behold, now is the day of salvation.)
3 Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed:
4 But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in
much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,
5 In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labours, in watchings, in
fastings;
6 By pureness, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the
Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned,
7 By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of
righteousness on the right hand and on the left,
8 By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as
deceivers, and yet true;
9 As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and, behold, we live;
as chastened, and not killed;
10 As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich;
as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.
11 O ye Corinthians, our mouth is open unto you, our heart is
enlarged.
12 Ye are not straitened in us, but ye are straitened in your own
bowels.
13 Now for a recompence in the same, (I speak as unto my children,)
be ye also enlarged.
14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what
fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what
communion hath light with darkness?
15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he
that believeth with an infidel?
16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are
the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them,
and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my
people.
17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith
the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and
daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
