The Image of God

Well i was thinking about God and His animals, and how God loves everyone the same. Because God is Just. Yes, God is Just. It’s people who say things like the family dog gets to live in comfort and style and have great food and care and love. But these other animals, all they deserve is to be shot. Some people even say that about other people! Some people even call God’s fish “trash fish”. No, God did not make any thing that is trash. God loves all His animals the same. God loves everything He created the same. I agree with some people who said that they think the original sin is that people put themselves in God’s Place, and decided that they would kill, and take life. I also think this could be true. Because God clearly commanded us “Thou shalt not kill”. Therefore, people who eat meat violate this Commandment every time they eat meat.

When God gave Noah instructions on putting the animals in to the Ark, God said to take them two by two. And Noah did.

GEnesis Chapter 6

17 And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth,
to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven;
and every thing that is in the earth shall die.
18 But with thee will I establish my covenant; and thou shalt come
into the ark, thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons’ wives
with thee.
19 And of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort shalt thou
bring into the ark, to keep them alive with thee; they shall be male
and female.
20 Of fowls after their kind, and of cattle after their kind, of every
creeping thing of the earth after his kind, two of every sort shall
come unto thee, to keep them alive.
21 And take thou unto thee of all food that is eaten, and thou shalt
gather it to thee; and it shall be for food for thee, and for them.
22 Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did

God did not say anything about clean or unclean beasts, or anything like that. God said two of every sort. Later, someone added on verses saying clean and unclean. In Exodus and some books of the Bible, people made the Bible into some sort of animal cookbook! This is not Holy Scripture, to kill. This goes against God’s commandment. God also told Noah and his family what to eat. God did not tell Noah to eat the animals. No. God did not create His animals to be eaten by men for food. Neither did God create man to be eaten for food by animals, either. No, it was man who decided to eat animals. They bought and sold animals in the temples for sacrifice for their sins, and then they ate the meat. So sinning became an excuse to eat meat. Jesus was against animal sacrifice. God is against animal sacrifice. God said “I will have mercy and NOT sacrifice”. NOT sacrifice means God does NOT want it. God wants us to be merciful, like He is. Killing animals and eating meat CANNOT forgive your sins anyway! Who ever thought they could?

Proverbs Chapter 11

17 The merciful man doeth good to his own soul: but he that is cruel
troubleth his own flesh.

Deuteronomy Chapter 4

31 (For the LORD thy God is a merciful God;) he will not forsake
thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers
which he sware unto them

Deuteronomy Chapter 5

7 Thou shalt have none other gods before me.
8 Thou shalt not make thee any graven image, or any likeness of any
thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is
in the waters beneath the earth:
9 Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I
the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the
fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of
them that hate me,

10 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and
keep my commandments.

11 Thou shalt not take the name of the L ORD thy God in vain: for the
LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

Nehemiah Chapter 9

30 Yet many years didst thou forbear them, and testifiedst against
them by thy spirit in thy prophets: yet would they not give ear:
therefore gavest thou them into the hand of the people of the lands.
31 Nevertheless for thy great mercies’ sake thou didst not utterly
consume them, nor forsake them; for thou art a gracious and
merciful God.

Jesus threw the money changers and the animal sellers out of the temple. Jesus came to end the blood sacrifices. That’s why the religious leaders had Him killed, because Jesus was going to destroy their way of making money – by selling animals for sacrifice and for eating meat. Jesus was also very merciful, as we can see.

Matthew Chapter 9

11 And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why
eateth your Master with publicans and sinners?
12 But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole
need not a physician, but they that are sick.
13 But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not
sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to

Matthew Chapter 12

5 Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the
priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are blameless?
6 But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple.
7 But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not
sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless.
8 For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day.

Here in Matthew Chapter 12, Jesus says the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, but are held blameless! They are killing animals and sacrificing animals and eating the meat. They are profaning the temple. And Jesus says if they knew what it means to have mercy and not sacrifice, they would not have condemned the guiltless. In other words, they would not have condemned the guiltless innocent animals to die for sacrifice. Because Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath Day. Not sacrificed animals. Sacrificed animals can never forgive mans sins. Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath.

So we can see that Jesus was a threat to the religious system that was in place at that time. Jesus wanted to do away completely with their pagan and heathen practices. But we can see that God is a merciful God, to ALL. God is not merciful to some, and not to others. God is merciful to all His Creations. God even tries to make peace with His enemies, before He has to destroy them.

I read quite a lot about Jesus being Essene and a vegetarian. He was a Nazarene. At some time, the religious leaders of the day decided to write the Bible, and they wrote and rewrote certain Scriptures. And when they “chose” what to put in the Bible, they burned all the rest! They destroyed all documents other than the ones they wanted printed as the Bible. Most documents were lost. But some Essenes took their religious documents to other countries. One was Tibet, where Scriptures were left in a monastery. Others hid their documents in caves near the Dead Sea, so they would not be destroyed. And these Dead SEa scrolls were found! and they were translated, and published, and we have new Light on Scripture, and Jesus teachings and words. It’s very amazing! I thought about this, how they tried to hide the Peace Gospels and Essene Gospels and Scripture in caves, but the Truth could not be hid!

Matthew Chapter 5

14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be
15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a
candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good
works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

People tried to destroy the Truth, and they tried to hide it, but they could do neither. Because we are reading it today! I find it very amazing and fascinating. And God even told us in the Bible that it cannot be hid!

Another thing i thought about is how evolution is just an excuse for man to act like monkeys. Man thinks, Oh, i’m just a monkey. There is no God and so i can do what ever i want! It doesn’t matter what i do! And so man does. He goes around acting like a monkey, having sex with the other monkeys, doing whatever he wants. The man goes around acting irresponsible, immoral, selfish, greedy and careless, acting like an animal instead of a man. Man goes around acting like an animal instead of behaving like the son of God. God created man in the Image of God, and man goes around acting like an animal, instead.

Hosea Chapter 6

5 Therefore have I hewed them by the prophets; I have slain them by
the words of my mouth: and thy judgments are as the light that goeth
6 For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God
more than burnt offerings.
7 But they like men have transgressed the covenant: there have they
dealt treacherously against me.
8 Gilead is a city of them that work iniquity, and is polluted with
9 And as troops of robbers wait for a man, so the company of priests
murder in the way by consent: for they commit lewdness.
10 I have seen an horrible thing in the house of Israel: there is the
whoredom of Ephraim, Israel is defiled.
11 Also, O Judah, he hath set an harvest for thee, when I returned the
captivity of my people.

Hosea Chapter 7

WHEN I would have healed Israel, then the iniquity of Ephraim was
discovered, and the wickedness of Samaria: for they commit
falsehood; and the thief cometh in, and the troop of robbers spoileth
2 And they consider not in their hearts that I remember all their
wickedness: now their own doings have beset them about; they are
before my face.
3 They make the king glad with their wickedness, and the princes
with their lies.
4 They are all adulterers, as an oven heated by the baker, who
ceaseth from raising after he hath kneaded the dough, until it be
5 In the day of our king the princes have made him sick with bottles
of wine; he stretched out his hand with scorners.
6 For they have made ready their heart like an oven, whiles they lie
in wait: their baker sleepeth all the night; in the morning it burneth as
a flaming fire.
7 They are all hot as an oven, and have devoured their judges; all
their kings are fallen: there is none among them that calleth unto me.
8 Ephraim, he hath mixed himself among the people; Ephraim is a
cake not turned.
9 Strangers have devoured his strength, and he knoweth it not: yea,
gray hairs are here and there upon him, yet he knoweth not.
10 And the pride of Israel testifieth to his face: and they do not return
to the LORD their God, nor seek him for all this.
11 ¶ Ephraim also is like a silly dove without heart: they call to
Egypt, they go to Assyria.
12 When they shall go, I will spread my net upon them; I will bring
them down as the fowls of the heaven; I will chastise them, as their
congregation hath heard.
13 Woe unto them! for they have fled from me: destruction unto
them! because they have transgressed against me: though I have
redeemed them, yet they have spoken lies against me.
14 And they have not cried unto me with their heart, when they
howled upon their beds: they assemble themselves for corn and wine,
and they rebel against me.
15 Though I have bound and strengthened their arms, yet do they
imagine mischief against me.
16 They return, but not to the most High: they are like a deceitful
bow: their princes shall fall by the sword for the rage of their tongue:
this shall be their derision in the land of Egypt.

SET the trumpet to thy mouth. He shall come as an eagle against the
house of the LORD, because they have transgressed my covenant, and
trespassed against my law.
2 Israel shall cry unto me, My God, we know thee.
3 Israel hath cast off the thing that is good: the enemy shall pursue
4 They have set up kings, but not by me: they have made princes,
and I knew it not: of their silver and their gold have they made them
idols, that they may be cut off.
5 ¶ Thy calf, O Samaria, hath cast thee off; mine anger is kindled
against them: how long will it be ere they attain to innocency?
6 For from Israel was it also: the workman made it; therefore it is not
God: but the calf of Samaria shall be broken in pieces.
7 For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind: it
hath no stalk: the bud shall yield no meal: if so be it yield, the
strangers shall swallow it up.
8 Israel is swallowed up: now shall they be among the Gentiles as a
vessel wherein is no pleasure.
9 For they are gone up to Assyria, a wild ass alone by himself:
Ephraim hath hired lovers.
10 Yea, though they have hired among the nations, now will I gather
them, and they shall sorrow a little for the burden of the king of
11 Because Ephraim hath made many altars to sin, altars shall be
unto him to sin.
12 I have written to him the great things of my law, but they were
counted as a strange thing.
13 They sacrifice flesh for the sacrifices of mine offerings, and eat it;
but the LORD accepteth them not; now will he remember their
iniquity, and visit their sins: they shall return to Egypt.
14 For Israel hath forgotten his Maker, and buildeth temples; and
Judah hath multiplied fenced cities: but I will send a fire upon his
cities, and it shall devour the palaces thereof.
