Don’t BE Afraid

29 Aug

August 29, 2014

Today i have a little better understanding of some things. For example, i understand Jesus doesn’t want us to worry or be afraid. He tells us this in John

John Chapter 14

26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will
send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to
your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the
world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither
let it be afraid.

Also, after last night, i realized that not everything that is written in the Bible has to happen exactly as it is written. No, in fact, Scripture tells us that not all prophecies will come true. That means we would be less than wise to expect everything that is written in the Bible to happen exactly so. Because God tells us that not all prophecies will come true

1 Corinthians Chapter 13

THOUGH I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have
not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all
mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I
could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I
give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me
nothing.
4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity
vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily
provoked, thinketh no evil;
6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth
all things.
8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall
fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be
knowledge, it shall vanish away.
9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part
shall be done away.
11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I
thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish
things.
12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now
I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest
of these is charity.

So it’s important to remember that we can’t expect everything to be exactly a certain way. Even if we could decipher all the prophecies, not all of them may come to pass. So i guess we need to discern those things that are coming to pass, and we need to watch unto prayer. And we need to remember Jesus message to not be afraid.

Strong Enough To Be Kind

29 Aug

August 29, 2014

I remember last year, in 2013, Earth Mother taught me about dying. I went on a walk at Cape Lookout, and God told me a few things during my walk that day. One thing She taught me about dying. She said that there may be some pain associated with dying, but as soon after we die, we forget all about dying, because of the wonders that await us. I thought about that. I wonder what that will be like. I think it sounds kind of like being born. Because we have some pain and are crying when we are born, but then we see a lot of wonders. Such as, who are those creatures looking at me and handling me? Who could they be? I imagined that dying is like being born, into another world. Kind of like that old tv show called Quantum Leap. The guy in that show would always , at the end of the show, do a quantum leap, and end up somewhere really strange. Just a funny thought i had.

Another funny thought i had, which isn’t really that funny, but more serious. I thought about being kind to my brothers, and also dealing with people in everyday to day life. During my life, i have always been kind of trained, or taught, you might say, to try to be as tough as i can. It is kind of a reaction, if someone gets angry at me, well, then i will act tough, or i will react in a like manner. If someone yells at me, i may yell at them, or if they cut me off, i may cut them off. Just so they will see what it’s like. HOwever, God has helped me to understand that it is more important for me to be kind to my brothers than it is to try and be tough. That makes sense to me, because i know Jesus’ teachings, love our brothers as ourselves. And, also, because it is more difficult to be kind, than it is to be tough. It’s easy to get mad, and yell, and wave your hands around and act like a jerk. However, it’s hard to remain calm, and not get mad when people are mean to you. And that’s why it makes sense to me. Because it’s always what’s the hardest thing we should do, that we should do. LIke, if we find a hundred dollar bill on the floor. Do we keep it, or turn it in? If someone asks us later if we put that hundred dollar bill in our pocket, do we lie and say no, or do we tell the truth and say yes. It is always hardest to do what is right, it seems. And so that’s why it makes sense to me that it is more important for me to be kind than for me to try and be tough. Just like love is not a weakness, it is a strength. Being kind is not a weakness, it is a strength.

I did see a funny thing the other day, though. I was sitting in my car in the dark and i looked out the window at the sidewalk and i saw someone walking down the sidewalk. I thought i did, i looked again, and it was like i saw a shadow, because there was no one there. And as i was looking there, where no one was walking, there goes a guy walking on the sidewalk, right where i had just seen him walking a few seconds prior. Funny. Actually, the guy was jogging. Later, as i thought about that, i imagined that the guy was running, or jogging, and almost spiritually, he was out in front of his body. I imagined that people who are running are spirits who are trying to escape from their bodies. But they can’t! They run as fast as they can, trying to get out of their body, but their body just keeps running with them, until the body gets too tired to run anymore. The spirits are trapped in their bodies, even if they try to run as fast as they can, they can’t get away.

I thought about food. When i went to the grocery store, everything was made out of chemicals and additives, artificial colors, artificial flavors, artificial sweeteners. I realized, this is not even food, what people are eating. It’s artificial food. It can’t be good for you. But the entire grocery store is filled with these weird so-called “foods” that aren’t even food. I don’t understand why people eat all this garbage, instead of eating real food that is good for them. No wonder they call it ‘junk food’.

I was reading the Scriptures and i was thinking about the end times, spoken of by Jesus. And, i remember what Jesus told the disciples, when He told them that He would be going away, and returning later, in John

John Chapter 14

25 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.
Let not your heart be troubled, neither
let it be afraid.
28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again
unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto
the Father: for my Father is greater than I.
29 And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is
come to pass, ye might believe.
30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this
world cometh, and hath nothing in me.
31 But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the
Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.

Jesus told them that they should rejoice, because He was going away, and He told them before it happened, so that when it did happen, they would Believe. Now, for me, if i were alive back then, and i saw Jesus heal the blind, and the lame, and the sick, raise the dead, cast out spirits, calm the waves and the sea and the wind, i would Believe. I would easily believe. And after all that, when Jesus was raised from the dead, just as He said, i would believe. I have a hard time understanding how any of His disciples would be witness to all that Jesus did, and still not believe when He was raised from the dead. How could they not believe? that’s what i’d like to know. How many miracles do they need to see before they could believe? I guess maybe some people have been given more faith and more ability to believe than some other folks.

However, i was thinking about the end times in Scriptures, and i remember the verses about the fowls in Revelations

Revelations Chapter 19

17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud
voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come
and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;
18 That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and
the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit
on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and
great.
19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies,
gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and
against his army.
20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that
wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had
received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image.
These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon
the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls
were filled with their flesh.

This sounds like the fowls are getting invited to the feast as well. It sounds like a good feast for the fowls. It sounds like there are lots of dead people for them to eat. I wonder what would kill all those people? I’m not sure, but it’s something pretty horrible it sounds like, because there are a lot of dead people for the fowls to eat. But also, in Luke

Luke Chapter 21

25 ¶ And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the
stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea
and the waves roaring;
26 Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those
things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall
be shaken.

Here, we read about men being afraid. So afraid, in fact, that their hearts fail them. Something really scary happens to them. It says that their hearts are failing them for Fear, And, for looking at those things that are happening on the earth. Something really scary is happening on the Earth that scares people to death, and we read the reason why – “for the powers of Heaven shall be shaken”. I’m not sure exactly what that means.

Also when reading LUke Chapter 21, i finally understood what the parable of the fig tree means

Luke Chapter 21

29 And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the
trees;
30 When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves
that summer is now nigh at hand.
31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye
that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.

Jesus is saying that when we see the fig tree starting to put out leaves, then we know summer is nigh. In the same way, when we see these events outlined in Scripture taking place, these are as the fig leaves starting to sprout. And then we know, these things foretold us in Scripture are soon to be arriving and taking place.

I have given some thought and a certain amount of study to try and determine which Biblical events have taken place, and which still have to take place, so that i have an idea where exactly we are on the Timeline, until the last day of Earth. It’s very complicated, and i have only been studying a year or less in my Bible. I have a few theories about this and that, the abomination desolation, etc. and i have an idea we are somewhere near the end of the Timeline. Just how near, i’m not sure, because i don’t know how to decipher all the Scriptures and prophecies. However, i did find a Scripture that i was able to decode. And this SCripture gives me a very good, and clear idea exactly where we are on the Timeline

Matthew Chapter 24

14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world
for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Now, i don’t know for sure that this gospel has been preached in all the world for a witness unto all the nations, yet. But as soon as it has been, then shall the end come. So we might not be able to decode all the prophecies and events, but we know when this gospel has been preached in all the world, for a witness unto all nations, then it will be the end shortly thereafter.

I believe this may be taking place now, this preaching of the gospel in all the world. Therefore i think we should all watch unto prayer. Because the end may be arriving sooner than we think. According to Scripture, this preaching of the gospel in all the world is one of the last things that happens, then the end shall come.

Matthew Chapter 24

AND Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples
came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.
2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say
unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that
shall not be thrown down.
3 ¶ And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto
him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what
shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man
deceive you.
5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall
deceive many.
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not
troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not
yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:
and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in
divers places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you:
and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.
10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another,
and shall hate one another.
11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax
cold.
13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world
for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken
of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let
him understand:)
16 Then let them which be in Judæa flee into the mountains:
17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any
thing out of his house:
18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his
clothes.
19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck
in those days!
20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the
sabbath day:
21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the
beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh
be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.
23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there;
believe it not.
24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall
shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible,
they shall deceive the very elect.
25 Behold, I have told you before.
26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert;
go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto
the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered
together.
29 ¶ Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be
darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall
fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and
then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son
of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and
they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end
of heaven to the other.
32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender,
and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is
near, even at the doors.
34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these
things be fulfilled.
35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass
away.
36 ¶ But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of
heaven, but my Father only.
37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son
of man be.
38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and
drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe
entered into the ark,
39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so
shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the
other left.
41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken,
and the other left
42 ¶ Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth
come.
43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in
what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and
would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the
Son of man cometh.
45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made
ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find
so doing.
47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his
goods.
48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth
his coming;
49 And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink
with the drunken;
50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not
for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the
hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Luke Chapter 21

25 ¶ And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the
stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea
and the waves roaring;
26 Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those
things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall
be shaken.

27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with
power and great glory.
28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and
lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
29 And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the
trees;
30 When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves
that summer is now nigh at hand.
31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye
that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.

32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all
be fulfilled.
33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass
away.
34 ¶ And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be
overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life,
and so that day come upon you unawares.

35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of
the whole earth.

36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted
worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand
before the Son of man.

Imagine The Unimaginable

27 Aug

August 26, 2014

The other day i mentioned that i don’t think people should question God’s Judgment. I mean, if people have a question, ask God. Read the Scriptures, ask God in prayer. But to go around saying things such as ‘why does God allow this or that’ , that is the same thing as walking up to God and asking God “Do You even know what You are doing?” I don’t think we should ask God things like that. No, we have faith in God, and we believe in the Word of God, and we do not question God. If we do, we ask in prayer, and seek our answers in prayer and Scriptures. And we understand that as humans, we are incapable of understanding the ways of God. Certainly, if we have faith in God and trust Him, then we aren’t going to go about questioning God’s ability and judgment.
I think these are two things that people should not do – question God’s Judgment and question God’s HOnesty. Because if people do question these things about God, then they do not believe in God. And we have to believe in God in order to receive salvation and everlasting life.

John Chapter 3

14 ¶ And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so
must the Son of man be lifted up:
15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have
eternal life.
16 ¶ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have
everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world;
but that the world through him might be saved.
18 ¶ He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth
not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name
of the only begotten Son of God.
19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world,
and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were
evil.
20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to
the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be
made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

So, therefore, let us believe, and question not.

Now in Matthew, i had to read this first part a few times, before i could understand exactly what was being said. Then when i did understand, it made me laugh

Matthew Chapter 23

THEN spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,
2 Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat:
3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and
do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.

Jesus told the people observe what the pharisees tell you and do what they say. However, Jesus said don’t do what they what they do, because they don’t follow their own teachings. It does seem kind of funny, but then, i realized, there is a message for me, in these Scriptures. And i should listen, and also i should practice my own teachings, otherwise, i am no different from a pharisees. If i teach patience, and brotherly love, then i need to practice my teachings as well. In James, i am reminded to be a doer, and not just a hearer of the Word

James Chapter 1

16 Do not err, my beloved brethren.
17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh
down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness,
neither shadow of turning.
18 Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should
be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear,
slow to speak, slow to wrath:
20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.
21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness,
and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save
your souls.
22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your
own selves.
23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a
man beholding his natural face in a glass:
24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway
forgetteth what manner of man he was.
25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth
therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this
man shall be blessed in his deed.

Of course this makes sense. It’s like i talked about the other day, we must listen, then we must learn, then we will live. Also, we must hear, and we must do. It is the same thing. An example i thought of is someone who goes to church every Sunday and they sit through the sermon, and whether they listen or not, after they leave church they just forget about the whole sermon. I thought, what is the point of the person even going to church, if they are not listening and learning, and doing what God teaches us? For example, if we listen to the Scriptures tell us to love our brothers as ourselves, but we do not do what the Scriptures tell us, well, then we aren’t being doers of the Word.

So i take this as a lesson for me to try and do better, and to practice my own teachings better. I began to understand that after i have made a writing, i need to read my own writing. This is how i learn. And by doing so, i can also see that i have room for improvement in my writing skills. After reading some things i wrote, i thought i was doing a better job of writing. I think partly my writing suffers if i am overly tired or hurrying. HOwever, i don’t want to make excuses. And also i begin to see that i learn from what i just wrote – i learned for example, that i need to be a doer of the word and not just a hearer. For me, the understanding i receive comes not in the writing that i do, but in the reading of my own writing.

Now i try to do my best, but i always have room for improvement. This is a learning and growing process.

One idea i had was how some people act all tough and macho, and they act like kindness and compassion are weaknesses. Some of these tuff guys may think they don’t need love and they are too tough to be compassionate. However, it is extremely ironic to me that these people can deny their own love that made them capable of surviving. For example, the tuff guy would not be alive if it were not for love. For if his mother did not love him , she probably would have just abandoned him somewhere. When we are first born, we are totally weak and completely dependent on others to keep us alive. We are completely dependent on the love of others, to keep us alive. Without love, none of us would be here today. Nothing would be here, people or animals. Because no one would take care of anyone or anything. No, i don’t believe love is a weakness. I believe it is a strength.

I was reading in John Chapter 14 how Jesus describes how He will appear to believers, and yet he will not appear to non-believers

John Chapter 14

19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me:
because I live, ye shall live also.

Here Jesus is telling us that not everyone will be able to see Jesus. But, ye see Him. Because He lives, and because you see Him, ye shall also live. This helps me to understand why some people just don’t or won’t believe in Jesus. Many don’t even see Him. I guess we are the fortunate ones, because we can see Him.

2 Corinthians Chapter 4

THEREFORE seeing we have this ministry, as we have received
mercy, we faint not;
2 But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in
craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by
manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s
conscience in the sight of God.
3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them
which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who
is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Here, Paul is saying that the god of this world has blinded the minds of the non-believers. Satan has confused people so much with evolution and other teachings and confusions among men that men have become blinded, and are unable to see Jesus. Now i begin to understand why some people just refuse to see, or understand. They can’t see, and they can’t understand, because their minds have been blinded. I hope that Jesus can cure them and make them to See. Otherwise, they will become lost.

I remember reading about Jesus, and Jesus said He is the Alpha and the OMega. That makes me think of me, when i say my prayers, every morning and night. I say my prayers in the beginning of the day, and i say my prayers at the end of the day. That way Jesus is my alpha and omega, every day!

Daily Devotion

August 26, 2014

Well i always listen for God in case God speaks to me. God does speak to me sometimes, and tells me lots of things. When i say that, i mean that God speaks to me in my thoughts. I “hear” God. But i have to be careful. Because not only does God speak to me in my thoughts, Satan also can. And Satan also talks to me in my thoughts. So i have to be aware, and learn to tell the difference.

Genesis Chapter 3

NOW the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which
the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath
God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of
the trees of the garden:
3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God
hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes
shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that
it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise,
she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her
husband with her; and he did eat.
7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they
were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made
themselves aprons.

For me it is rare that Satan tries to interfere with my thoughts, but sometimes Satan tries to tell me things as though God were telling me, but i have to learn to tell the difference. I know what God sounds like, and the things God tells me are all good. And so anything i hear that isn’t good, i know it isn’t from God. So i have to be aware, and make sure i don’t get fooled. I have to discern everything i hear and make sure i know the source. Because i found out that God tells me things, and Satan does too.

I believe God and Satan can speak to all of us, in our thoughts. So we should all be aware.

I recently realized that the cares of the physical world have a way of dominating our life here on Earth. We can become so involved in the day to day world that we don’t have time to think about God, and to pray to God and to talk with God. So i think it is very important to dedicate time for God every day, first thing when we wake up, and last thing, before we go to sleep. Of course the more time we devote to God, the better. So i hope everyone finds time and dedicates time to Jesus, every day.

I wonder why it costs so much to live in a house. It seems to me that having some sort of a hut to live in should be a basic right, or basic human need. However, it costs so much now many people can’t afford to live in a house. I wonder why? I also wonder why people haven’t been planting fruit trees and nut trees everywhere, for the past 300 years or more. Because then there would be no food shortage. Food just grows out of the ground for free, and everyone could have enough food to live on. We could all share our food. However, it also costs a lot of money to eat food. And i don’t think that is right, either.
We could all be eating free food that grows right out of the ground.

One of the things i have noticed when i listen to God is that sometimes God doesn’t want me going to certain places. Why, i don’t know. I don’t understand most of what happens to me. But i have noticed on certain occasions that when God doesn’t want me going somewhere, there is a certain sign God may give me to tell me this. For example, if some person comes up and starts yelling at me, then i know i should not be going to that place. Why? I don’t know. I just know what it means. And so i don’t go to places where i understand that God doesn’t want me to go. Some things i do understand though.

4 For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay
them on men’s shoulders; but they themselves will not move them
with one of their fingers.
5 But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad
their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments,
6 And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the
synagogues,
7 And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi,
Rabbi.
8 But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and
all ye are brethren.
9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father,
which is in heaven.
10 Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.
11 But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.
12 And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that
shall humble himself shall be exalted.
13 ¶ But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut
up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in
yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.
14 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour
widows’ houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye
shall receive the greater damnation.

Now i understand that the hypocrites are more concerned with being seen of men, they wear bright clothes and love the best seats at the feasts, the synagogues and the greetings in the marketplaces and to be called Rabbi Rabbi. So i don’t want to be like these hypocrites, so i avoid the marketplaces and being seen of men, because i don’t want to be a hypocrite like these pharisees. No, i don’t, and sometimes God will give me a signal to remind me of these things. And sometimes, God gives me a signal that God doesn’t want me going to certain places. Why? I don’t know. I just understand what God is telling me, but i do not understand everything. I take it very seriously not to be considered a hypocrite and to keep myself humble at all times. I don’t feel i have any difficulty keeping myself humble, but i pay close attention to what God tells me, and i try my best to do the best i can. So sometimes, God may give me a signal not to go somewhere. I don’t care what the reason is, i only care that i understand what God is telling me, and that i do what God tells me.

Recently i came under attack by forces of mosquitoes. Though they are small, they can still attack me. I thought about mosquitoes, and i realize there aren’t any real vampires. No, the only kind of animals who are blood suckers are mosquitoes, fleas, ticks, bedbugs, and other filthy blood sucking leeches and parasites. That is the only job of these blood suckers is to eat the blood of others. And, for example, you can’t teach a mosquito to be nice. No, a mosquito is just a parasitic blood sucking leech, by it’s own nature and cannot be changed.

I have been wondering what it might be like when our redemption comes, as talked about in Luke Chapter 21

19 In your patience possess ye your souls.
20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then
know that the desolation thereof is nigh.
21 Then let them which are in Judæa flee to the mountains; and let
them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are
in the countries enter thereinto.
22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are
written may be fulfilled.
23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck,
in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath
upon this people.
24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led
away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of
the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
25 ¶ And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the
stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea
and the waves roaring;

I was wondering about this and i began to realize that we are going to be happy to see God! And God is going to be happy to see us! And the Angels are going to sing! It’s going to be very amazing, indeed. I can’t even imagine what it will be like.

Unfortunately, for those folks who don’t believe in Jesus, it won’t be a happy time. No, those folks are going to begin to understand the meaning of real fear and horror. For folks who do not believe in Jesus, it is not going to be a good day for them. So i hope everyone gets the message about Jesus, and i hope that all God’s children will be saved.

I also thought about little babies. Babies are so cute and adorable and innocent. Just think how much people love little babies, especially parents. Now, if humans love little babies so much, then how much more does God loves little babies? Much more than we can imagine, or even begin to understand.

God’s Love is very great indeed.
